Miss Earth USA stands at the forefront of a unique integration of environmental advocacy, women empowerment, and community engagement.
As part of the Miss Earth global community, we work to extend beyond the glitz and glamour of beauty pageants to create a community of women and girls making an impact on the planet’s most pressing environmental issues.
We often work through symbiotic partnerships that align with our organization and share our mission for sustainability.
When discussing partnerships, we are asked a few common questions, not only about the process, but also about what it means to partner with the Miss Earth USA organization, and in turn, Beauties for a Cause (B4ACUSA), Miss Earth USA’s official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

What does a partner do?
Our corporate and community partners work with us to provide support throughout many aspects of the Miss Earth USA organization and the B4ACUSA nonprofit.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to what each partnership entails, considering that each business or community organization has a different skill set that benefits from a mutual relationship.
Here are a few things that are crucial in a partnership:
- Understanding and uplifting our mission: Our goal is that each partner is ready to work together to uplift a mission of women’s empowerment and community impact.
- Work together to support the environment: We encourage our partnerships to embrace green initiatives. Whether or not your business has a plethora of sustainable policies, your organization should have an open mind when it comes to implementing environmentally-friendly procedures.
- Embracing the value of the pageant industry: Miss Earth USA is recognized as a top tier national pageant program leading to one of the planet’s “big three” international competitions. Established in 2001, Miss Earth values MORE than beauty! While our delegates are indeed beautiful, we have created a platform for young women and girls to gain valuable experience and commit their voice to various important causes.
How long are you required to partner with the Miss Earth USA organization?
9 out of 10 of our partners renew a relationship annually with Miss Earth USA in some capacity. While there is no set requirement for the length of time a business or organization must partner with us, we encourage long-term partnerships.
Each year following the national competition, we consult with partners on changes or renewal of terms. With the support of our partnerships, we aspire to work together to build a community that empowers not only our delegates but also our communities.
“We have returned for several years to support the efforts of Miss Earth USA,” said Lady Code owner Lisa Opie. “The team behind Miss Earth USA offers the highest level of quality within pageant organizations, and they always make me feel valued and acknowledged.”

Is a cash or in-kind contribution tax-exempt?
The official nonprofit entity of Miss Earth USA is the B4AC USA “Beauties for a Cause” nonprofit organization, classified by the IRS as a registered 501c3 charitable tax-exempt organization. All contributions to the pageant are managed through the foundation in order to provide partners and donors with a tax-exempt gift option.
Your company may also find it beneficial to classify the gift as a “marketing” expense. These contributions allow the Miss Earth USA program to distribute over $20,000 in grants to participants and to dedicate funding to mission trips, environmental education programs, extensive volunteer work by the national representatives and other community service efforts.
