Manila, Philippines, November 10, 2024 - Beatrice Millan-Windorski of Wisconsin takes home a Top 4 international placement and the new title of Miss Earth Water 2024. Representing the United States, Windorski arrived this October to the Philippines to attend the annual Miss Earth competition. 22-year old Windorski joined nearly 80 delegates from around the globe while touring the islands. She ranked to the top placement on November 9 at the Okada resort in Manila, Philippines, airing live on the Queen Beauty Network.
Rounding out the Top 4 were Miss Earth Jessica Lane from Australia, Miss Air Hrafnhildur Haraldsdottir of Iceland, and Miss Fire Neva Antezana of Peru.
MISS EARTH® focuses on empowering women, promoting eco-tourism and aiding environmental causes around the globe. Each year, delegates from around the globe known as BEAUTIES FOR A CAUSE® represent their unique nations during the highly anticipated competition.
Since arriving to the competition in mid-October, Windorski qualified as a Top 30 finalist for the Talent Competition, playing the cello. She was awarded a gold medal in Heritage fashion performance. Additional competitions included upcycle fashion, swimwear, beauty of face, and interview.
Windorski joins a history of powerhouse performances by United States representatives at Miss Earth. In the past 10 years, the United States has a strong record of success, including multiple elemental titles of Air, Water, Fire, and winning the Miss Earth grand winner title by Lindsey Coffey in 2020.
Each year, the winner of Miss Earth dedicates time to special environmental projects like tree planting, beach cleanups, environmental fairs, school tours, speaking engagements and numerous other environmentally oriented activities. Windorski has connected with organizations like Los Angeles Climate Week, Climate Reality, the Clean Earth Project and Goodwill Industries sustainability efforts.
22-year-old Windorski recently graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, majoring in International Relations and History. As Miss Earth USA, she receives prizes, travel and endorsements valued at over $250,000. She will headline the upcoming television reality series filming of Pretty Down to Earth, following the candidates competing for Miss Earth 2025.
