Kentucky Resident Danielle Mullins Will Represent the United States at the 23rd Annual Miss Earth Competition

Washington, D.C. , September 10, 2023 - Danielle Mullins, Miss Earth USA 2023 of Louisville, Kentucky, will travel to Vietnam in November and December to compete at the 2023 Miss Earth Pageant managed by Carousel Productions of the Philippines. After the United States claimed the Miss Earth title in 2020 and was selected 1st runner up in 2019 and 2021, Mullins aims to carry on the legacy of American pride at the international competition.

MISS EARTH® focuses on empowering women, promoting eco-tourism and aiding environmental causes around the globe. Each year, delegates from around the globe known as BEAUTIES FOR A CAUSE® represent their unique nations during the highly anticipated competition.

Mullins and nearly 100 delegates representing their countries will spend 4 weeks in Vietnam facing off in competitions like beachwear, evening gown, national costume and talent. The candidates will tour the country to meet the public and serve the community. Should she capture the crown on December 22, 2023, Mullins would dedicate the next year to promoting special environmental projects like tree planting, beach cleanups, environmental fairs, school tours, speaking engagements and numerous other environmentally oriented activities. The winner of Miss Earth 2023 becomes the spokeswoman for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) and works in partnership with organizations like the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF).

26-year-old Mullins is a Cum Laude Graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Public Relations, living her dream of being a female entrepreneur in the Beauty Industry. She founded The Wand Project, currently partnering with multiple organizations internationally to help animals negatively impacted by environmental disasters. Mullins has appeared in New York Fashion Week, Kentucky Derby, Miami Swim Week and Chicago's St Patrick's Day Parade, in addition to serving as spokesperson for We Clean Trails, the Still She Rose mental health initiative, and other conservation efforts. As Miss Earth USA she received prizes, travel and endorsements valued at over $200,000.
